Inner Peace Marianne WilliamsonThe first act of being present is to become aware of your body, your thoughts and emotional states within it.  As an observant yoga instructor, coach and body-worker, moreover as a living, breathing human I understand how disconnected we can become to ourselves. Being reactive to people and circumstances can be effortless. More often than not, that automatic reaction comes from the emotional or mental states we’re harboring; we aren't responding to the world as it arrives because reaction is loaded with the baggage we carry.
